The communication mix of the non-profit organization

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá komunikačním mixem vybrané neziskové organizace, která se zabývá snižováním počtu dětí v ústavech a podporou náhradní rodinné péče v České republice. Cílem bakalářské práce je navrhnout nové možnosti propagace pro tuto organizaci. První část bakalářské práce přibližuje problematiku komunikačního mixu v neziskových organizacích, charakteristiku neziskového sektoru a fundraising. Ve druhé části je charakterizována instituce Děti patří domů z.s., což zahrnuje také její historii, dlouhodobé cíle, marketingový mix a SWOT analýzu. Tato část obsahuje také dotazníkové šetření, jehož hlavním cílem je zjistit, jaké faktory ovlivňují občany při poskytování příspěvku neziskovým organizacím. Z výsledků bylo zjištěno, že hlavním důvodem nepřispívání občanů je nedůvěra v organizaci. Na základě místního šetření jsou formulovány nové možnosti marketingové komunikace pro neziskovou organizaci.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the communication mix of the non-profit institution that is aimed at reducing number of children in institutions and support foster care in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to suggest new ways of promotion for this organization. The first part of the thesis deals with the communication mix in non-profit organizations, the characteristics of the non-profit sector and fundraising. In the second part is described the institution Děti patří domů, which includes its history, long-term aims, marketing mix and SWOT analysis. This part also contains a survey, whose main aim is to determine which factors influence the citizens in providing charitable contribution to non-profits. Based on the results of the survey it was found out that the main reason of the fact that people do not contribute is distrust institution. Based on the local survey there are formulated new ways of marketing communication for the non-profit organization.
