Two workshops for the production of King Oidipús National theatre in Brno

Abstract:

Projekt Dvě tvůrčí dílny k inscenaci Král Oidipús v Národním divadle v Brně kulturně vzdělává generaci mladého publika formou dvou workshopů k inscenaci „Král Oidipús“ v Národním divadle v Brně, které vycházejí z principů a cílů divadelní výchovy. Tyto dílny k inscenaci tak rozvíjí schopnost účastníků vnímat a porozumět divadelnímu jazyku, jenž inscenace využívá, a schopnost rozklíčovat význam užitých inscenačních prostředků (mizanscéna). Workshopy pracují s tématy inscenace a jejich aktualizací, čímž účastníkům téma přiblíží a vedou je k hlubšímu a osobitému vnímání divadelní inscenace. Projekt buduje schopnost recepce a reflexe dramatického umění, schopnost kriticky nahlížet na divadelní inscenaci a vytvoření vazby a vztahu mladého publika k umění jako takovému.

Abstract:

This project Two workshops for the production of King Oidipús National theatre in Brno culturally educated a generation of young audience through the form of two workshops related to the production of "Oedipus the King" at the National Theatre in Brno, based on the principles and objectives of theater education. These workshops aim to develop the ability of their participants to perceive and understand the theatrical language used in the performance, and their capability to decipher the meaning of different staging mediums (misanscene). The workshops are handling the topics of the production and their actualization, bringing the subjects closer to the participants and leading them to their deeper and personalized understanding. The project builds the capacity to perceive and reflect on dramatic art, the ability to take a critical look at theatre productions and create a bond and a relationship of young audiences with art in general.
