Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá rolí a významem hudebního producenta v současném hudebním průmyslu. Cílem práce je analyzovat, jak producenti vnímají svou roli, jaké mají ambice a jak se vyrovnávají s výzvami, které přináší rychle se měnící trh. Teoretická část práce definuje klíčové pojmy a procesy, které pomáhají pochopit roli a význam hudebních producentů, a to i v historickém kontextu. Práce se opírá o kvalitativní výzkum, který zahrnuje rozhovory se třemi hudebními producenty, a zkoumá klíčové faktory ovlivňující propojování rolí umělce a producenta a definuje zdroje motivace jedince začít s hudební produkcí.

Abstract:

This thesis examines the role and importance of the music producer in the contemporary music industry. The aim of the thesis is to analyse how producers perceive their role, what their ambitions are and how they cope with the challenges posed by a rapidly changing market. The theoretical part of the thesis defines key concepts and processes that help to understand the role and importance of music producers, including a historical context. Drawing on qualitative research involving interviews with three music producers, the thesis explores the key factors influencing the interplay between the roles of artist and producer and defines the sources of an individual's motivation to enter music production.
