Integration Policy of Muslims in the United Kingdom and the Europeanization

Abstract:

Today, in Great Britain live 1,6 million of british Muslims who are permanently confronted with british habits, culture and legal system. In my work, I would like to aim on the evolution and changes of the integration policy of Great Britain towards Muslims.I will analyze what is the influence of the Great Britain on current trends in the EU and on the contrary how the EU influences policy of Great Britain towards british Muslims. In my work, I will try to build an answer on the question: by what means is integration policy of Great Britain manifesting towards Muslims in the newly appearing integration policy of the EU due to the europeanization and by what means is manifesting integration policy of the EU towards Muslims on the Great Britain level due to the europeanization? As the policy of integration on the EU level is developing, we could say that it will affect british Muslims in an increased measure.

Abstract:

Veľkú Britániu v súčasnosti obýva viac ako 1,6 milióna britských moslimov, ktorí sú neustále konfrontovaní s britskými zvykmi, kultúrou a právnym systémom. Vo svojej práci by som sa chcela zamerať na vývoj a premeny integračnej politiky Veľkej Británie voči moslimskému obyvateľstvu. Taktiež sa budem snažiť zistiť, ako vplýva integračná politika Veľkej Británie na súčasné trendy v EÚ a spätne, ako Európska únia ovplyvňuje politiku Veľkej Británie voči moslimskému obyvateľstvu. V práci sa budem snažiť nájsť odpoveď na otázku: Akým spôsobom sa prejavuje integračná politika Veľkej Británie voči moslimom v novo-vznikajúcej integračnej politike EÚ vďaka europeizácii a akým spôsobom sa prejavuje integračná politika EÚ voči moslimom na úrovni Veľkej Británie vďaka europeizácii? Vzhľadom k tomu, že na európskej úrovni sa vytvára politika integrácie si myslíme, že bude ovplyvňovať integráciu moslimov vo Veľkej Británii v čoraz väčšej miere.
