Fundraising of non-profit organizations and Volunteering

Abstract:

Předložená bakalářská práce se zabývá fundraisingem neziskových organizací, dobrovolnictvím a využitím dobrovolníků ve fundraisingu. Cílem práce je porovnat metody fundraisingu, využití dobrovolníků a dlouhodobost spolupráce. Práce je tvořena dvěma hlavními částmi. Teoretická část vychází ze zpracování a rešerše odborného textu. Vysvětluje pojmy neziskový sektor a nezisková organizace a jejich typy, popisuje fundraising jako nezbytnou součást existence organizace a vysvětluje rozdíl mezi sponzoringem a dárcovstvím. Dále pak vymezuje pojmy dobrovolnictví, jeho druhy a motivaci k dobrovolnictví. Praktická část se zabývá polo strukturovanými rozhovory s třemi pracovníky ze tří libereckých neziskových organizací a intepretací jednotlivých rozhovorů. Následně pak vyhodnocením předem určených výzkumných hypotéz.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with fundraising of non-profit organisations, volunteering and using volunteers in fundraising. The aim of this thesis is to compare the fundraising methods, the use of volunteers and long-term cooperation. The thesis consists of two main parts. The theoretical part is based on the processing and retrieval of scientific text. It explains the concepts of the non-profit sector and non-profit organisations and their types, describes fundraising as a necessary part of the organisation and explain the difference between sponsorship and donation. Furthermore, it defines the terms: volunteering, its types and motivation to volunteer. The practical part deals with semi-structured interviews with three employees from three Liberec NGOs and interpretation of individual interviews. Subsequently, the evaluation of predetermined research hypotheses.
