Intra community trade amongst member countries of the European Union

Abstract:

Práce je zaměřena na dodání a pořízení zboží uvnitř Evropské unie z pohledu daně z přidané hodnoty. Práce je uvedena pod názvem „Intrakomunitární obchod mezi členskými zeměmi Evropské unie“, který zahrnuje výše uvedenou problematiku. První teoretická část popisuje v širším pojetí problematiku obchodu na jednotném trhu Evropské unie. V druhé části se práce zaměřuje na specifikaci a uplatňování nového systému daně z přidané hodnoty v České republice, který byl přijat se vstupem na společný trh Evropské unie. Hlavním cílem této práce je zjistit klady a zápory intrakomunitárního obchodu, a to z hlediska plátce DPH. Práce je zakončena praktickými příklady na modelových situacích české fiktivní firmy. Tento názorný příklad dokresluje představu o probírané problematice. Diplomová práce je podložena metodou analýzy odborné literatury a legislativy, která přispívá k pochopení fungování této probírané oblasti, metodou komparace zjištěných dat, syntézy a deskripce. Praktická část práce je zpracovaná formou případové studie.

Abstract:

This work is focused on the supply and acquisition of goods within the European Union in terms of value added tax. The work is listed under the name "Intra Community trade amongst member Countries of the European Union," which includes the above mentioned issues. The first theoretical part describes the wider issues of trade within a single market of the European Union. The second part focuses on the specification and implementation of a new system of value added tax in the Czech Republic, which was also adopted by the Czech Republic's entrance into the EU common market. The main objective of this work is to find out the pros and cons of intra community trade from the perspective of the payer of value added tax. The work ends with a practical example in the form of a model situation within a fictitious or hypothetical Czech company. This is a symbolic example which illustrates the idea of the issues discussed. This thesis is supported by an analysis of scientific literature and legislation that will contribute to the understanding of the functioning of the areas discussed, identified by comparisons of data, synthesis, and descriptions. The practical part of the work was prepared and completed in the form of case studies.
