Abstract:

This bachelor thesis investigates the role of politeness and linguistic politeness strategies in business communication. The key role of the thesis is to explore the importance of politeness strategies in business communication and demonstrate how these strategies can differ in different business contexts. The bachelor thesis analyses how the choice of politeness strategies varies depending on the different factors such as cultural norms, gender roles, professional hierarchy and communication type. The findings emphasize the importance of adapting politeness strategies to context to maintain effective, respectful, and professional communication.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá roli zdvořilosti a jazykových strategií zdvořilosti v obchodní komunikaci. Klíčovou úlohou práce je prozkoumat význam zdvořilostních strategií v obchodní komunikaci a ukázat, jak se tyto strategie mohou lišit v různých obchodních kontextech. Bakalářská práce analyzuje, jak se mění výběr zdvořilostních strategií v závislosti na různých faktorech, jako jsou kulturní normy, genderové role, profesní hierarchie a typ komunikace. Zjištění zdůrazňují důležitost přizpůsobení strategií zdvořilosti kontextu, aby byla zachována efektivní, respektující a profesionální komunikace.
