Ergotherapeutic procedures applied to pediatric patients diagnosed with brachial plexus paresis

Abstract:

Předkládaná bakalářská práce se zabývá diagnózou porodního plexu brachialis u dětí. Sumarizuje dostupné informace jak od českých, tak i zahraničních autorů v průběhu času a krátce polemizuje nad konzervativní léčbou a chirurgickými zákroky. Teoretická část se především zaměřuje na anatomickou strukturu brachiálního plexu a jeho různé typy a další rozdělení. Specifická část popisuje jednotlivé ergoterapeutické intervence, které byly využívány. Tyto metody byly aplikovány na dětském klientovi v průběhu dvou kvartálů. Součástí práce je i popis metodiky, vstupního a výstupního vyšetření klientky, a to i s kineziologickým rozborem a krátkodobým i dlouhodobým ergoterapeutickým plánem

Abstract:

The submitted bachelor's thesis deals with the diagnosis of brachialis birth plexus in children. It summarizes the available information from both Czech and foreign authors over time and briefly controversies over conservative treatments and surgical procedures. The theoretical part focuses primarily on the anatomical structure of the brachial plexus and its different types and other divisions. The specific part describes the individual occupational-occupational interventions that have been used. These methods were applied to the child client over the course of two weeks. Part of the thesis is also a description of the client's methodology, entrance and exit examination, including with kinesiological analysis and a short-term and long-term occupationaltherapy plan.
