Selected health and social aspects of seniors and possibilities of social and health services in city Valašské Meziříčí

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou seniorské věku v kontextu zdravotně sociální práce. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda vybrané zdravotně sociální služby ve Valašském Meziříčí, které poskytují pobytovou péči seniorům, uspokojují z hlediska vymezených zdravotně sociálních aspektů své současné i budoucí klienty, tj. zájemce o službu. Práce je rozčleněna do dvou částí, tj. teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část je rozdělena do třech kapitol. První kapitola vymezuje pojmy senior, definuje stáří, jeho biologické, psychické a sociální změny a také se zabývá psychologií stárnutí. Druhá kapitola vytyčuje zdravotně sociální aspekty seniorů. Třetí kapitola shrnuje poznatky o zařízeních, které nabízejí pobytové služby pro seniory na území České republiky a také popisuje práci zdravotně sociálního pracovníka. V aplikační částí nabízí tato práce popis a porovnání nabízených služeb ve vybraných pobytových zařízeních pro seniory ve městě Valašské Meziříčí. Údaje byly zjištěny prostřednictvím expertních rozhovorů a studiem dokumentů. Jádrem aplikační části byla jejich komparace.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis occupied with the issue of seniors age in the context of health and social work. The main objective is find out determine whether the selected health and social services that provide residential care for seniors, Valasske Mezirici meet the terms defined medical and social aspects of its current and future clients, ie. taker of service. The work is divided into two parts, ie. the theory and practical. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter defines the terms senior, defines old age, its biological, psychological and social changes, and also deals with the psychology of aging. The second chapter outlines the health and social aspects of seniors. The third chapter summarizes information about devices that provide residential services for seniors in the Czech Republic and also describes the work of health and social worker. In the practical part of this work provides a description of the services offered on selected and comparasion residential facilities for the elderly in Valasske Mezirici. The data were determined through expert interviews and studying the documents. The core of the application part being their comparison.
