Prague's June Uprising in 1848

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce jsou Pražské svatodušní bouře v roce 1848. Práce se zprvu věnuje přehledu nejpodstatnějších českých událostí, které přispěly k samotnému vypuknutí pražského povstání. Dále se snažím čtenáři přiblížit organizaci, počet a výzbroj obou soupeřících táborů. Hlavním tématem je pak průběh samotné revoluce, probíhající od 12. do 17. června, a její následné důsledky v Čechách. Mimo jiné se zmiňuji i o hlavních postavách červnového povstání. Předložená bakalářská práce byla zpracována na základě studia české a německy psané odborné literatury za použití především základní historické metody analýzy, kompilace a komparace.

Abstract:

The theme of the Bachelor thesis are the Prague June Pentecostal Uprising in 1848. The work is focused to the most important Czech overview at events that contributed to the outbreak of the Prague Uprising. In my work I try to describe the organization, the number of readers and the armament of the both rival camps. The main theme is the progress of the revolution, from 12.-17.June, and its subsequently consequences in the Czech Republic. Furthermore I did not forget write something about the main characters of the Prague June Uprising. The submitted thesis has been processed on the basis of the study of Czech and German written literature, using primarily the basic historical methods of analysis, compilation and comparison.
