Práce je pokusem získat lepší pochopení tektonického vývoje území jihozápadního Jordánska na základě kombinací terénní paleonapjatostní analýzy a souborů dat dálkového průzkumu Země. Byl zvolen nový přístup k paleonapjatostní analýze založený na metodě inverze dat zlomů s ohlazy v devítirozměrném prostoru, což umožnilo úspěšně detekovat pět hlavních tektonických epizod. An attempt was made to gain a better insight into the tectonic evolution of the SW Jordan, based on a combined analysis of field-based paleostress and remotely sensed datasets. A new approach for paleostress analysis, using the nine-dimensional space fault-slip inversion method, allows to successfully detect five major tectonic episodes.
