Recovery measures in the company

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá příčinami vzniku krize v podniku, které ohrožují dosahování cíle podniku nebo vedou k ohrožení jeho další existence. Dále se zabývá identifikací rizik, jejich analýzou a navrhováním ozdravných opatření v podniku zasaženém krizí. Zvolené téma je obzvlášť aktuální v současné době, kdy ekonomická krize je pro všechny části podniku nejen vážným problémem, ale rovněž velkou výzvou. V aplikační části je popsána situace americké investiční banky Lehman Brothers, která podala 15. září 2008 návrh na konkurz, což bylo jedním z prvních důsledků krize na americkém hypotečním trhu. Za pád banky mohly především riskantní obchody s cennými papíry, jejichž cena se odvíjela od hodnoty balíků podřadných hypoték. Tato část práce identifikuje viníky a rizika, která banku přivedla až k jejímu bankrotu, popisuje ovlivnění světové ekonomiky tímto bankrotem a restrukturalizační plán banky. Hlavním cílem této práce je uvedení ozdravných opatření banky a identifikace rizik, která přivedla banku k jejímu kolapsu.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis deals with the cause of the crisis in the company, which threaten the achievement objectives of a business or lead to threats to its continued existence. It also deals with risk identification, analysis and design of curative measures for businesses affected by the crisis. The chosen theme is particularly topical in the present, when the economic crisis is all part of the company not only a serious problem, but also a great challenge. The practical part describes the situation of American investment bank Lehman Brothers, which filed the 15th September 2008 bankruptcy petition, which was one of the first consequences of the crisis on the American mortgage market. The banks could fall particularly risky securities transactions, the price of the package were based on the value of sub-prime mortgages. This chapter identifies the culprits and the risk that the bank led to its bankruptcy, describes the effect on the global economy by bankruptcy and restructuring plan for the bank. The main aim of this study is to introduce curative meansures the bank and risk identification, which led the bank to its collapse.
