Abstract:

Cílem mé balakářské práce bylo názorně ukázat to, že domorodí obyvatelé Austrálie (Austrálci) nejsou schopni myslet bíle a přizpůsobit se současnému životnímu stylu většinové Austrálie. Hlavním důvodem pro toto tvrzení bylo to, že Austrálci byli nejenom připraveni o svou zem a původní kulturu, ale také to, že se nedokáží přizpůsobit kultuře, která je tolik odlišná od té jejich původní. Porovnávala jsem tedy tradiční způsob života Austrálců, jejich postavení ve společnosti a jejich hospodářství před a po kolonizaci Austrálie, abych předvedla kulturní rozdíly mezi domorodou a nedomorodou kulturou.

Abstract:

The aim of my Bachelor´s Thesis is to demonstrate the inability of the Aboriginal people to think white and adjust to the lifestyle of the mainstream Australia in the present. The main reason for this claim is not only that the Aboriginal people were dispossessed of their land and deprived of their traditional culture, but also the fact that they simply cannot adjust to a lifestyle which is so much different from their own. I compared the lifestyle, social position and economy of the Aborigines before and after the colonization of the Australian continent in order to demonstrate the vast differences between the Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal cultures.
