Issues of social inclusion of mentally disabled individuals in society

Abstract:

Ústředním tématem bakalářské práce je problematika sociálního začleňování mentálně postižených jedinců do společnosti. První část je zaměřena na vymezení problematiky mentální retardace a socializace jedince. Součástí této části je také rodina jedince s mentálním postižením a samotný jedinec a jeho potřeby během vývoje směřující k sociálnímu začleńování. Druhá část je zaměřena na šetření formou kazuistiky a rozhovoru s rodiči dětí s mentálním postižením, jeho zpracování a interpretaci výsledků. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty výsledky, kterých bylo šetřením dosaženo.

Abstract:

The crucial theme of the essay is the issue of the social inclusion of the mentally disabled individuals into society. The first part of the essay is focused on defining of mental retardation and socialization of the individual. This contains also the issue of the family of mentally disabled individual and he himself and his needs during the process of social inclusion. The other part is focused on social investigation presented by three case loads and interviews with the parents if the mentally disabled children, their processing and interpretation of results. At the end of essay I summarize the results achieved by the investigation.
