Accounting and tax issue of technical appreciation and repairs of fixed assets

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá účetní a daňovou problematikou technického zhodnocení a oprav dlouhodobého majetku. Problematika je demonstrována na konkrétních případech poskytnutých dvěma společnostmi. Jedná se o příspěvkovou organizaci Domov sociálních služeb Liblín a územně samosprávný celek Obec Vejvanov. V první části práce jsou s využitím platné legislativy a odborné literatury objasněny pojmy použité v souvislosti s problematikou oprav a technického zhodnocení majetku a jsou analyzovány rozdíly mezi opravou a technickým zhodnocením majetku. Empirická část práce se podrobně zabývá důvody rozhodnutí jednotlivých organizací pro technické zhodnocení nebo opravu majetku. Analyzuje dopady zvolených i navržených řešení na výsledek hospodaření a daň z příjmů každé organizace. Výstupem práce je na základě zjištěných poznatků doporučení důkladně vyhodnocovat stav konkrétního majetku a sledovat průběh prováděných prací.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with accounting and tax issues of technical appreciation and repairs of fixed assets. The issue is demonstrated on particular cases provided by two companies. It is the contributory organization of the Home of Social Services in Liblín and the municipality self-governing community of Vejvanov. In the first part of the thesis, with the use of valid legislation and professional literature, the concepts used in the context of repairs and technical appreciation assets are clarified and the differences between the repair and the technical appreciation of the property are analysed. The empirical part of the thesis deals in detail with the reasons for decisions of individual organizations for technical appreciation or repair of property. It analyses the impacts of the selected and proposed solutions on the profit and income tax of each organization. Based on the findings, it is recommended to thoroughly evaluate the status of particular assets and to monitor the progress of the work carried out.
