Abstract:

„Hudební festival Mighty Sounds – případová studie“ je bakalářská práce zabývající se konkrétním hudebním festivalem a jeho marketingovými a manažerskými nástroji. V současné době jsou hudební festivaly častým a oblíbeným kulturním vyžitím, na kterých lidé rádi tráví svůj volný čas a vynakládají své peněžní prostředky. Každý rok se v České republice konají desítky hudebních festivalů a Mighty Sounds, konaný v Táboře, patří mezi ty nejoblíbenější nejen v této zemi, ale i v zahraničí. To je dáno především unikátním kombinováním hudebních žánrů prezentovaných v rámci jednoho festivalu. V teoretické části práce je obsažená potřebná terminologie spojená s hudebním festivalem, dramaturgií, bookingem a také marketingem. Druhá část práce, praktická, je věnována konkrétně hudebnímu festivalu Mighty Sounds. Zde jsou popisovány jednotlivé nástroje, jak marketingové, tak manažerské, které organizátoři festivalu využívají. Cílem této bakalářské práce je porovnání, které nástroje popsané v teoretické části se v praxi využívají a v jakém rozsahu. K tomu byly použity informace poskytnuté ze strany samotných organizátorů festivalu.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis ”Music festival Mighty Sounds – case study“ is dedicated to a description of music festivals in general and its management and marketing tools. Nowadays, music festivals are becoming one of the most popular cultural events where people like to spend their free time and money. Each year, dozens of festivals are held in Czech republic and Mighty Sounds, held in Tábor, belongs to one of the most popular ones not only in this country but worldwide due to its unique combination of genres. The theoretical part of the thesis describes terms connected with music festivals mentioned above; mostly its dramaturgy, booking and marketing. The second part of the thesis focuses on music festival Mighty Sounds. The practical part of the thesis highlights selected tools, both marketing and management, that the organizers of the Mighty Sounds festival use. The aim of the thesis is to compare which tools described in theoretical part are used in practice and to what extent based on the information given by the organizers themselves.
