Předmětem této diplomové práce je komparace českých a polských pranostik. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. V teoretické části je uvedena definice frazeologie a předmět jejího studia. Následuje definice paremiologie a slova "pranostika". Jsou rovněž uvedeny jednotlivé typy pranostik. Práce se také zaměřuje na vznik a vývoj pranostik v české a polské paremiologii. The Master‘s Thesis subject is the comparison of the Czech and Polish weather proverbs. It is divided into two parts. Definitions of phraseology and the subject of its study are explained in the theoretical part, where the meaning of the word weather proverbs and their types are presented as well.
