Adaptation of Human Resources Graduates from the Selected University to the Labour Market

Abstract:

Cílem této magisterské diplomové práce je prozkoumat subjektivní pohled na proces adaptace absolventů oboru personalistiky na trh práce, konkrétně při vstupu do zaměstnání po ukončení vysoké školy. Tato práce je teoreticko-empirického charakteru. V teoretické části práce se pojednává o trhu práce, adaptaci na trh práce, absolventech oboru personalistiky a o organizační kultuře. V empirické části práce jsou pak prezentovány jednotlivé výsledky, které vychází z deseti polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s vysokoškolsky vzdělanými absolventy v oboru personalistiky. Výsledky jsou prezentovány v kapitolách s názvy: hledání pracovního místa, nástup do zaměstnání, srovnání adaptace podle typů organizace a fáze adaptace z pohledu respondentů. Následuje shrnutí empirické části práce a diskuse. V závěru je zodpovězena hlavní výzkumná otázka a dílčí výzkumné otázky a rovněž jsou předložena doporučení pro zaměstnavatele, doporučení pro vzdělávací instituce v oboru personalistiky, doporučení pro studenty oboru personalistiky a návrh pro další výzkum.

Abstract:

The aim of this master's thesis is to explore the subjective view of the process of adaptation of HR graduates to the labour market, specifically when entering employment after graduation. This thesis is of theoretical and empirical nature. The theoretical part of the thesis discusses the labour market, adaptation to the labour market, graduates in HRM and organisational culture. The empirical part of the thesis then presents the individual results based on ten semi-structured interviews with graduates in HR. The results are presented in the chapters entitled: job search, job entry, comparison of adaptation by type of organisation, and adaptation phases from the perspective of the respondents. This is followed by a summary of the empirical part of the thesis and a discussion. In the conclusion the main research question and sub-research questions are answered and recommendations for employers, recommendations for HR education institutions, recommendations for HR students and a suggestion for further research are also presented.
