Economic evaluation of the brownfield revitalization proposal in Zlin region

Abstract:

Cílem mé bakalářské práce je využít teoretickou bázi a dostupné informace mající vazbu na problematiku obnovy brownfields a na jejich základě navrhnout možná řešení revitali-zace opuštěné plochy v obci Hlinsko pod Hostýnem. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části {--} teo-retickou a praktickou. V části první je provedena literární rešerše vybraných zdrojů a po-psána společenská závažnost tématu, přičemž důraz je kladen na otázku: {\clqq}Jak se vypořádat s brownfields do budoucna?`` V části analytické jsou potom objektem zájmu dva konkrétní investiční záměry včetně uvedení technické a kapitálové náročnosti a možností jejich fi-nancování s ohledem na schopnost realizace. U obou těchto záměrů jsou determinovány šance a úskalí z nich plynoucí. Závěr je věnován zhodnocení obou variant a to nejen z pohledu ekonomicky smýšlejícího člověka.

Abstract:

The goal of my bachelor thesis is to take use of the theoretical base and available infor-mation concerning brownfields redevelopment and to propose possible solutions leading to the revitalization of Hlinsko pod Hostýnem municipality. The thesis consists of two main parts {--} the theoretical one and the analytical one. In the first one, the literature retrieval of the chosen sources is given and the high importance of the topic is described there, as well, with the accent to the question: {\clqq}What about brownfields in the future?`` In the second one, the main attention is focused on two concrete capital projects including technical and capi-tal intensity description and financing possibilities description with regard to the imple-mentation. There are also determined the challenges and the difficulties concerning the capital projects. Finally, both projects are evaluated each other not only from economic point of view.
