Ethical principles of working with the dying people in home hospice care

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá etickými principy, které jsou uplatňovány při práci s umírajícími a jejich rodinnými příslušníky. První a druhá kapitola práce tvoří teoretickou základnu. První kapitola seznamuje s pojmy etika a morálka, zabývá se členěním etiky. Dále se věnuje profesní etice, vzniku této disciplíny a jejím druhům. Druhá kapitola se zabývá vhledem do problematiky sociální práce a významem etiky v sociální práci. Další část kapitoly se zabývá etickými kodexy, ukazuje jejich význam a blíže seznamuje s etickými kodexy sociálních pracovníků a obou organizací, ve kterých probíhala výzkumná část této práce. Třetí kapitola představuje výsledky kvalitativního výzkumného šetření, které probíhalo technikou rozhovoru. Rozhovory byly provedeny s pracovníky ve dvou zařízeních zabývajících se domácí hospicovou péčí na území okresu Žďár nad Sázavou.

Abstract:

The Bachelor thesis deals with ethical principles of working with the dying people and their family members. The first and the second chapter of the thesis form the theoretical base. The first chapter introduces the concepts of ethics and morality and it deals with the division of ethics. It also discusses the professional ethics, the origin of this discipline and its types. The second chapter deals with social work and the importance of ethics in social work. The next section deals with the ethical codes, it shows their importance and it introduces the ethical codes of social workers and of both organizations in which research part of this thesis took place. The third chapter presents the results of qualitative research, which was carried out by interview technique. The interviews were conducted with workers of two institutions that focus on home hospice care in the district of Žďár nad Sázavou.
