Feuerstein's method of instrumental enrichment at elementary school

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se věnuje využití Feuersteinovy metody instrumentálního obohacování (FIE) u žáků se specifickými poruchami učení. Představuje teoretické pozadí a aplikaci metody instrumentálního obohacování. Popisuje základní problematiku specifických poruch učení. Přibližuje systém edukace a podpory žáků se SPU v prostředí českého školství. V rámci práce byla provedena studie zkoumající přínosy FIE pro žáky s SPU. Cílem práce bylo popsat specifika a konkrétní přínosy využití metody u těchto žáků. Na základě provedeného dotazníkové šetření, rozhovorů s respondentkami a pozorování žáka s dyslexií v rámci hodin FIE byla za využití kvalitativní metodologie identifikována klíčová témata této problematiky. Studie popisuje metodou rozvíjené dovednosti, vliv metody na žákovo sebepojetí a výhody implementace metody do školního vzdělávacího programu.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the utilization of the Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment (FIE) method with students with specific learning disabilities. It presents the theoretical backgorung and application of the instrumental erichment method. Describes the basic issues of specific learning disorders, and outlines the systém of education and support for students with specific learning disabilities within the Czechc educational system. The study examing the benefits of FIE for students wtih specific learning disabilities was conducted as part of the thesis. The aim of the thesis was to describe the specifics and specific benefits of using the method wtih these students. Based on the conducted questionnaire survey, interviews with respondents, and observation of a studentwith dyslexia during FIE calsses, key themes of issue were indentified using qualitative methodology. The study describec the skills developer through the method, the impact of the method on the student's self-concept, and the advantages of implementing the method into the school curriculum.
