Bakalářská práce se zabývá významem lázeňského cestovního ruchu v Karlovarském kraji. Teoretická část vymezuje pojmy jako lázeňství, statut lázeňského místa, přírodní léčivé zdroje a lázeňká péče. Hlavní část práce se věnuje charakteristice Karlovarského kraje z pohledu cestovního ruchu a lázeňství a analýze vybraných ukazatelů v lázeňství. The thesis is aimed on the importance of the spa and tourist industry in the Karlovy Vary region. The theoretical part defines terms such as balneology, spa resort, natural resourse and balneology care.
