The Bitmap and Vector Graphics in Practice

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma Bitmapová a vektorová grafika v praxi pojednává o základním rozdělení statické počítačové grafiky, jejím zpracování a použití v praxi. Bakalářská práce poskytuje přehled o základních vlastnostech bitmapové a vektorové grafiky, používaných grafických formátech a softwaru pro její úpravu a tvorbu. Obsahem je rovněž vysvětlení základních pojmů souvisejících s bitmapovou a vektorovou grafikou – rozlišení obrázku, barevná hloubka, popis barevných modelů, Bezierovy křivky. Závěr mé bakalářské práce tvoří porovnání obou typů grafiky z pohledu jejich využití a nejpoužívanějších programů pro jejich tvorbu se zaměřením na cílové skupiny uživatelů a odhadnutí vývoje této oblasti do budoucna.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the topic of bitmap and vector graphics in practice. It discusses the basic splitting of the static computer graphics, its processing and utilisation in practice. It also provides an overview of the basic features of bitmap and vector graphics, used graphics formats and software for its correction and creation. It also contains the explanation of basic terms connected with the bitmap and vector graphics – resolution of picture, coulor depth, descriptions od color models, Bezier curves. The conclusion of my bachelor thesis is the comparison of both the types of graphics. This comparasion is done from the view of their using in practice and the most used programs for their creation according to the target group of their users. The final part is my vision of the progress this specialisation in the future.
