Career Adaptability and Self-regulated Learning for Students of the Combined Form of Study

Abstract:

Magisterská diplomová práce je zaměřena na souvislost mezi autoregulovaným učením a kariérovou adaptabilitou u studentů kombinované formy studia a netradičních studentů. Práce má teoreticko-empirický charakter. Teoretická část se zabývá pozicí studenta kombinujícího studijní a pracovní povinnosti v učící se společnosti. Dále se zabývá teoretickými východisky, popisující dovednost řídit vlastní učení a kariérovou adaptabilitou, potřebnou pro neustálé, akcelerující a nejasně formulované proměny v oblasti ekonomické, sociální a technologické. Empirická část představuje průzkumné šetření, zabývající se autoregulovaným učením a kariérovou adaptabilitou netradičních studentů a studentů kombinované formy studia (N = 150). Průzkumné šetření má kvantitativní charakter, použitou metodou je dotazování a výzkumným nástrojem dotazník. Hlavním cílem této práce je změřit vzájemnou souvislost mezi autoregulovaným učením, kariérovou adaptabilitou a jejich dílčími oblastmi. Dalšími cílem je změřit úroveň těchto proměnných a posoudit rozdíly mezi netradičními a ostatními studenty kombinované formy studia. Pro dosažení těchto cílů bude použit jako výzkumný nástroj dotazník složený z dvou standardizovaných dotazníků, kterými jsou DAUS1 a CAAS-SF.

Abstract:

The master's thesis is focused on the relationship between self-regulated learning and career adaptability in students of combined forms of study and non-traditional students. The work has a theoretical-empirical character. The theoretical part deals with the position of a student combining study and work responsibilities in a learning society. It also deals with theoretical background, describing the ability to manage one's own learning and the career adaptability needed for constant, accelerating andvaguely formulated changes in the economic, social and technological fields.The empirical part presents an exploratory survey dealing with self-regulated learning and career adaptability of non-traditional students and students of combined form of study (N = 150). The research survey has a quantitative character, the method used is questioning and the research tool is a questionnaire. The main goal of this work is to measure the interrelationship between self-regulated learning, career adaptability and their sub-areas. Another goal is to measure the level of these variables and assess the differences between non-traditional and other students of the combined form of study. To achieve these goals, a questionnaire consisting of two standardized questionnaires, DAUS1 and CAAS-SF, will be used as a research tool.
