Cílem této práce je zkoumání funkce Senátu České republiky se zvláštním zaměřením na nutnost existence této komory českého parlamentu. Před samotným zkoumáním předchází teoretické vysvětlení obou komor parlamentu a poté srovnání jejich fungování. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to research the functions of the Senate of the Czech Republic with special focus on the necessity of existence the second chamber of Czech parliament. Author provides the theoretical explanation of both chambers of the parliament before the examination itself and then comparison their functions.
