Sociál work in healthcare in the years 1918-1938 in Ostrava

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje sociální práci ve zdravotnictví, se zaměřením na cílovou skupinu kojenců a batolat. Budu se zabývat tím, jakou roli hrála sociální práce ve zdravotnictví, jakou úlohu plnila sociální pracovnice, a jaké metody používaly v sociálně zdravotnickém zařízení. Časově je tato práce vymezena léty 1918-1938. Výzkumné poznatky doplním o vzpomínky pamětníka, který velkou část svého profesního života prožil právě ve zmíněném dětském centru Domeček na pozici vedoucího lékaře a ředitele. Diplomová práce je metodologicky ukotvena historickým výzkumem. Cílem diplomové práce je provést analýzu sociální práce ve zdravotnictví v období let 1918 -1938, konkrétně se budu zabývat obsahem sociální práce ve zdravotnictví, historickým popisem vývoje Dětského centra Domeček, úlohou sociální pracovnice v sociálně zdravotním zařízení v Ostravě. Výzkumné poznatky doplním o vzpomínky pamětníka, který velkou část svého profesního života prožil v dětském centru Domeček na pozici vedoucího lékaře a ředitele.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with social work in health care, focusing on the target group of infants and toddlers. I will deal with the role played by social work in health care, what role the social worker played and what methods they used in the social health care facility. This work is limited in time to the years 1918-1938. I will supplement the research findings with the memories of a witness who spent a large part of his professional life in the aforementioned Domeček children's center in the position of chief physician and director. The diploma thesis is methodologically anchored by historical research. The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyze social work in health care in the period 1918 -1938, specifically I will deal with the content of social work in health care and the role and role played by a social worker in a social health facility in Ostrava. I will supplement the research findings with the memories of a witness who spent a large part of his professional life in the Domeček children's center in the position of chief physician and director. The work is based on primary and secondary sources, while the primary sources were drawn mainly from the Archives of the City of Ostrava
