Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o románu Kříž u potoka (1868) české spisovatelky Karoliny Světlé a možné inspiraci románem Na Větrné hůrce (1847) od britské autorky Emily Brontëové. Seznamuje s biografií a bibliografií obou autorek a okolnostmi hypotetického kontaktu Světlé s německým překladem díla Na Větrné hůrce. This bachelor’s thesis deals with the novel Kříž u potoka (1868) by the Czech writer Karolina Světlá and possible inspiration with the novel Wuthering Heights (1847) by the British author Emily Brontë. It acquaints with the biography and bibliography of both authors and the circumstances of Světlá’s hypothetical contact with the German translation of Wuthering Heights.
