Women's awareness of the issue of surrogate motherhood

Abstract:

Má bakalářská práce pojednává o informovanosti žen k problematice náhradního mateřství na území České republiky. V teoretické části bude interpretován pojem náhradní mateřství, jeho prvopočátky v dějinách lidstva, dále bude popsán proces náhradního mateřství a jeho částečné absence v legislativě občanského zákoníku v České republice. Výzkumná část je zaměřena na to, zda jsou ženy na našem území dostatečně informovány, zda by zvolily asistovanou reprodukci jako jednu z možností volby přivést na svět živého potomka jak ze strany náhradní matky, tak ze strany neplodné ženy toužící po dítěti.

Abstract:

My thesis will deal with women's awareness on the issue of surrogate motherhood in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part will be interpreted concept of surrogacy, its origins in the history of mankind, and will describe the actual process of surrogacy and the partial absence of legislation, the Civil Code in the Czech Republic. The research part is focused on whether women in our country are sufficiently informed, whether they choose assisted reproduction as one of the options to give birth to live a child from both surrogate mothers and infertile women longing for a child.
