Podle průzkumu, který v červnu 2021 provedla agentura Ipsos ve 26 zemích, odpovědělo 5 % celkové populace, že je přitahuje pouze stejné pohlaví, zatímco pokud zahrneme i lidi, které přitahuje převážně opačné nebo stejné pohlaví, zvýší se toto procento na 26 %.
