Role models of children from children's homes

Abstract:

Moje bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou životních vzorů u dětí v dětských domovech s ohledem na riziko absence těchto vzorů v rodině. Práce je členěna na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se dělí na kapitolu Dítě a Ústavní péče, ve kterých jsem se zaměřila především na psychologický vývoj dítěte, funkci životních vzorů, rizika správného vývoje plynoucí z ústavní péče a její současný stav v České republice. V praktické části jsem provedla výzkum formou nestandardizovaných rozhovorů s dětmi z dětského domova v menším městě. Z nich jsem kvalitativně vyvodila, kde tyto děti hledají životní vzory, jaké postavení u nich má rodina a vychovatel a jak vědomě se svými vzory inspirují.

Abstract:

My bachelor thesis investigates role models of children from children’s homes with respect to the potential absence of these models in family. The work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The former contains two chapters named Child and Institutional care, in which I focused on a psychological evolution of a child, function of role models, risks to proper evolution stemming from institutional care and its current state in the Czech Republic. In the practical part, I carried out a research in the form of non-standardized interviews with children from a children’s home in a small town. On their basis, I deduced where these children seek their role models, what is the status of family and childcare workers and how consciously they take inspiration from their models.
