Transformation of legal entity of the company Czech post to a joint stock company and subsequent privatisation

Abstract:

Tématem této práce je transformace České pošty, s. p. a její následná privatizace. Je zde nastíněn stručný historický pohled na vývoj poštovnictví. Zmíněna je oblast poskytování služeb i částečně analyzovány vybrané faktory související s hospodářskými výsledky. Jsou zde popsány důvody, proč bylo potřeba přistoupit k transformaci tohoto státního podniku i to, na jakém legislativním principu státní podnik funguje apod. Transformace podniku je nastíněna z pohledu úkolů, postupů, strategie, realizace cílů jednak podniku, ale i zřizovatele. Pro porovnání jsou uvedeny i transformace pošt v zahraničí. V závěru je zmíněna částečná privatizace podniku, a dále ponechán otevřený prostor pro případ, že bude přistoupeno k dokončení celé privatizaci podniku.

Abstract:

The work presents research results that provide a snapshot of transformation of Czech Post and its eventual privatisation. There is given a brief historical outline of development of postal services is given in this work. An area of providing services and partial analysis of selected factors related to economic figures are mentioned here. Reasons why transformation of this state enterprise was necessary, and legislative principles on which the state enterprise works are described. Transformation of the enterprise concerning tasks, policies, strategy, implementation of goals is described from the point of view of the enterprise as well as a founder. Transformations of post offices in foreign countries for comparison. In the final part, partial privatisation of the enterprise is mentioned, and there is some vacant space for the case the finalizing of privatisation is chosen.
