Remuneration and motivation of employees in the Construction Company VARO, s.r.o.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou odměňování a motivace zaměstnanců ve Stavební společnosti VARO, s.r.o. Motivace zaměstnanců je jeden z nejdůležitějších úkolů vedení společnosti. Přispívá k vyššímu pracovnímu nasazení a díky tomu si zaměstnavatelé dokážou zaměstnance udržet. Motivovat zaměstnance lze na základě finančních i nefinančních nástrojů. Jedním z nástrojů je odměňování a pro zaměstnavatele je důležité mít správně nastavenou strategii a celkový systém odměňování. Z interních dokumentů společnosti byly zjištěny informace o aktuálním systému odměňování. Na základě toho bylo zhotoveno dotazníkové šetření a hloubkový rozhovor. Dotazníkové šetření bylo určeno pro téměř všechny zaměstnance. Hloubkový rozhovor byl veden se dvěma zaměstnavateli neboli jednateli společnosti. Otázky pro zaměstnance směřovaly především na to, zda se cítí být dostatečně motivováni a zda dostávají dostatečnou odměnu za jejich vykonanou práci. Otázky pro zaměstnavatele zkoumaly, zda mají správně nastavený systém odměňování a s tím spojenou motivaci svých zaměstnanců. Po celkovém shrnutí dotazníkového šetření a hloubkového rozhovoru jsou sepsána doporučení a návrhy na zlepšení systému odměňování a motivace.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of remuneration and motivation of employees in Stavební společnost VARO, s.r.o. Employee motivation is one of the most important tasks of the company management. It contributes to a higher work commitment and thanks to this employers are able to keep employees. Employees can be motivated on the basis of financial and non-financial instruments. One of the tools is remuneration and it is important for employers to have the right strategy and overall system of remuneration. Information about the current system of remuneration was found from internal documents of the company. On the basis of this, a questionnaire survey and an in-depth interview were prepared. The questionnaire survey was designed for almost all employees. The in-depth interview was conducted with two employers or company directors. The questions for employees were mainly focused on whether they feel sufficiently motivated and whether they receive sufficient remuneration for their work done. The questions for employers examined whether they had a well-designed remuneration system and the associated motivation of their employees. After an overall summary of the questionnaire inquiry and the in-depth interview, recommendations and proposals are drafted to improve the remuneration system and motivation.
