Heroines in Jane Austen's novels in comparison with female characters from L. M. Alcott's novel Little Women

Abstract:
The overall aim of this thesis is to compare female characters from the novels of the British author Jane Austen with the heroines from the novel Little Women, written by the American writer Louisa May Alcott. Cílem práce je porovnat představitelky z románů britské spisovatelky Jane Austenové s hrdinkami z knihy Malé ženy od americké autorky Louisy May Alcottové. Přestože jejich tvorbu dělí přibližně 60 let, tato práce se zaměří na prezentaci rozdílů ale i podobností jejich hrdinek.
