Texas organizational culture

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce s názvem "Texaská firemní kultura" je nalézt a popsat specifika texaské firemní kultury v rámci americké firemní kultury. V práci jsou nejprve definovány teoretické pojmy související s kulturou a firemní kulturou. V praktické části páce je rozebrána americká firemní kultura, jmenovitě etický kodex, společenskou zodpovědnost firem, pracovní prostředí, teambuilding a dresscode. Poslední část rozebírá samotný Texas, jeho kulturu obecně, historii, nezávislost, patriotismus a náboženské přesvědčení. Následně jsou popsána specifika texaské firemní kultury. Práce poskytuje detailní pohled na texaskou firemní kulturu jako specifický oddíl americké firemní kultury, zároveň napomáhá pochopení kulturních hodnot v Texasu, což vede k lepší orientaci při obchodním jednání.

Abstract:

The goal of the thesis "Texas organizational culture" is to find and define specifics of Texas organizational culture as a part of American organizational culture. First, theoretical terms connected to culture and organizational culture are defined. In the practical part of the thesis, American organizational culture is described, namely ethical codex, company social responsibility, workplace, team-building and dress code. The last part concerns Texas itself, its culture in general, history, independence, patriotism and religious beliefs. Then, the specifics of Texas organizational culture are also described. This thesis provides a detailed view on Texas organizational culture as a part of American organizational culture, at the same time it helps to understand the cultural values of Texas, which leads to a better orientation when in business relations.
