Homologní rekombinace hraje klíčovou roli při eliminaci dvouřetězcových zlomů v DNA. Genetické studie u kvasinek Saccharomyces cerevisiae odhalily centrální úlohu helikázy Srs2 při prevenci nevhodné rekombinace. Abstract:
Homologous recombination has a key role in elimination of DNA double-strand breaks. Genetic studies in the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae have disclosed central role of Srs2 helicase in prevention of inappropriate recombination events.
