The concept of social responsibility and its implementation in Paon label company

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá společenskou odpovědností v podnikání, neboli CSR. Úvod práce je zaměřen na obecný koncept společenské odpovědnosti, historii a jsou rozebírány jednotlivé oblasti. V práci je zmíněn samotný význam CSR v České republice a jeho ocenění různými organizacemi. Další kapitoly pak detailněji předkládají průběh zavedení společenské odpovědnosti ve firmách. Součástí je také předložení role státu v této problematice a možná budoucnost CSR v následujících letech. Praktická část je rozdělená na dvě části. První část má formu kvalitativního dotazníkového šetření. Respondenty jsou firmy specializované na výrobu spodního prádla a výsledná analýza je doplněna rešerší informací získaných z webových stránek podniků, popř. dalších zdrojů. Firmy jsou pak porovnávány metodou benchmarkingu a z výsledných informací úrovně společenské odpovědnosti je vytvořen koncept CSR pro Paon label s.r.o., který má podpořit rozvoj principů společenské odpovědnosti v této firmě.

Abstract:

The submitted diploma thesis deals with social responsibility in business, or CSR. The introduction is focused on the general concept of social responsibility, history, principles and individual areas are also discussed. The work is also focused on the importance of CSR in the Czech Republic and its appreciation by various organizations. The next chapters present in more detail the process of introducing social responsibility in companies. It also includes the presentation of the role of the state and issue of CSR in possible future in the coming years. The practical part is divided into two parts. The first part takes the form of a qualitative survey, which is answered by companies that are in the field of underwear production and the resulting analysis is supplemented by its own research information. The companies are then compared using the benchmarking method and the resulting information on the level of social responsibility creates a concept of social responsibility for the company Paon label s.r.o., which is to support the development of the principles of social responsibility in this company.
