Práce porovnává vysokorychlostní železniční dopravu s ostatními dopravními obory za účelem identifikace výhod, resp. slabších stránek právě vysokorychlostní železnice a následně determinuje rozsah, kdy je vysokorychlostní železnice plně konkurenceschopná ostatním dopravním modalitám. Abstract:
The thesis compares high-speed rail with other means of transport for the purpose to identify its main advantages and disadvantages. Furthermore, it determines the scope within which high-speed rail is fully competitive on the transport market.
