Audit inquiry telemetric monitoring of patients

Abstract:

Cíl: Cílem této práce bylo auditním šetřením zjistit znalost Standardu telemetrického sledování nemocných a dovednosti všeobecných sester při manipulaci se samotným přístrojem a monitoringem nemocných. Metodika: Auditního šetření se zúčastnilo 20 všeobecných sester ze 4 oddělení. Audit probíhal v období od 1. 11. 2016 do 31. 12. 2016. K provedení interního auditu byl použit kontrolní list se zaměřením na telemetrické sledování nemocných. Data byla získána formou rozhovorů, pozorováním všeobecných sester, klientů a analýzou zdravotnické dokumentace. Výsledky: Šetřením bylo zjištěno, že se výsledky auditu na každém oddělení lehce liší. Přesně 10 všeobecných sester dosáhlo 100% úspěšnosti, 5 dotazovaných překročilo hodnotu 90% úspěšnosti a 5 všeobecných sester nepřesáhlo hodnotu úspěšnosti 90%. Nejlépe dopadlo oddělení Interny 2, kde všechny dotazované všeobecné sestry dosáhly plného počtu 40 bodů. Byly zjištěny rozdíly vedení telemetrie ve zdravotnické dokumentaci a rovněž znalosti všeobecných sester. Při tomto šetření nejlépe dopadlo oddělení, na kterém je umístěna centrální stanice telemetrického sledování. Všechny oslovené sestry zde dosáhly plného počtu, a to nejen ve znalostech standardu, ale také v manuálních činnostech. Celkové výsledky auditního šetření jsou výborné. Závěr: Ošetřovatelský standard telemetrického sledování nemocných je platná norma, jež formuje pravidla, která musí zdravotnický personál dodržet. Po jeho dodržení je poskytnuta klientovi kvalitní a bezpečná péče. Výsledky práce lze využít jako zdroj o kvalitě poskytované péče. Navržena opatření mohou sloužit ke zlepšení kvality péče. Abstract:

Objective: The aim of this study was to determine the audit investigation knowledge standard telemetry monitoring of patients and the skills of nurses when handling the device itself, and monitoring of patients. Methodology: Audit inquiry was attended by 20 nurses from four departments. The audit covered the period from 1. 11. 2016 to 31. 12. 2016. The performance of the internal audit checklist was used to focus on telemetry monitoring of patients. Data were obtained through interviews, observation of nurses, clients and analysis of medical records. Results: The investigation revealed that the results of the audit department at each slightly different. Exactly 10 nurses reached 100% success 5 surveyed value exceeded 90% pass 5 and nurses must not exceed 90% success rate. Top Department fell internal 2 where all interviewed nurses have reached the full number of 40 points. There were differences in management telemetry medical documentation and also the expertise of nurses. During this investigation, it turns out the best department in which is placed the central station telemetry monitoring. All nurses are addressed reach the full number, and not only in the knowledge standard, but also in manual activities. The overall results of the audit investigation are excellent. Conclusion: Nursing standard telemetry monitoring of patients is a valid standard, which forms the rules that must be observed medical staff. After his respect is given to the client quality and safety of care. The results can be used as a source of quality of care. Proposed measures may serve to improve the quality of care.
