Subjects' real estate transaction in the Třebenice domain in 17th century on the example of the village of Velemín.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá zkoumáním různých aspektů transferu poddanské nemovitosti na panství Třebenice v 17. století. Jako základní pramen pro tento výzkum slouží zápisy v pozemkové knize pro vesnici Velemín. Po nastínění historie velkostatku následuje formální analýza pramenného materiálu. Hlavní část práce se již věnuje charakteristice samotného převodu usedlostí. Posuzována je zde zaprvé četnost převodů a otázka příbuzenských vztahů, přičemž je nastíněna i otázka dědické praxe. Samostatná pozornost je věnována finančním aspektům převodu usedlostí jako je cena, závdavek a splácení usedlosti.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis investigates various aspects of transfers of real estate held by subjects in Třebenice domain in 17th century. Records in the land registry of the village of Velemín serve as basic source for the investigation. An outline of the domain's history is followed by a formal analysis of the source material. The main part of the thesis deals with characteristics of the real estate transfers. First, frequency of the estate transfers and the issue of family relations, as well as heirship practice, are considered. Individual attention is paid to financial aspects of the estate transfers such as price, down payment, and annuities.
