Generational alterations in the use of methods of upbringing

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na proměnu výchovných prostředků mezi generacemi. V teoretické části jsou definovány pojmy týkající se rodiny a výchovy. Nastíněna je také problematika možné rizikovosti při používání trestů a odměn ve výchově. V praktické části jsou uvedena data získaná kvalitativní výzkumnou metodou. Prostřednictvím rozhovorů bylo zjišťováno, jaké výchovné prostředky byly používány v orientačních rodinách respondentů. Dále které výchovné prostředky a metody používají nyní ve svých prokreačních rodinách. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaké výchovné metody si respondenti do prokreační rodiny přenesli či k jakým změnám došlo.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the transformation of parenting tools between generations. The theoretical section defines and explores terms related to family and parenting, including the possible risk of using punishment and reward in parenting. The practical section analyses data acquired by the qualitative research method. Respondents were interviewed about the parenting tools used in their families of orientation. They were also asked about the parenting tools and methods they are currently using in their families of procreation. The thesis aims to identify the parenting methods the respondents carried into their families of procreation and how those methods might have been transformed.
