Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Komunitní servery: charakteristika, typy“ pojednává o novém fenoménu moderní doby. Komunitní servery vstupují do našich životů a jistým způsobem je ovlivňují. Tato práce se pokusila zmapovat jejich okolí. Zaměřuje se na jednotlivé body, zabývá se pojmy komunita jako taková, virtuální komunita a komunitní server. Poukazuje na historii a vývoj, a to nejen na území České republiky, ale celého světa. Užívání komunitních serverů přínáší jako každá část lidkého života výhody i nevýhody, tudíž ani tento bod nemohl být v práci opomenut. Rozdělit komunitní servery není vzhledem k jejich rozmanitosti a různorodosti vůbec jednoduché. Práce tudíž bere v potaz pouze některá kritéria jako způsob vzniku, založení na neziskovém či podnikatelském základě, cíle, kterých dosahuje a počet uživatelů. Posledním dělícím bodem je typ uživatele a nabízených služeb, kde se práce detailně věnuje popisu již konkrétních komunitních serverů. Výsledkem bakalářské práce je aplikace na konkrétní osoby, které ve svém životě komunitní servery využívají a navrhnutí komplexního řešení pro zlepšení jejich situace.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis “Community servers: characteristic, types” deals with a new phenomenon of modern time. Community servers enter our lives and they influence them in a particular way. This paper tried to map their environment. It describes individual points, focuses on the terms community in itself, virtual community and community server. It refers to the history and development not only in the area of the Czech Republic but the whole world. The usage of community servers yields as any other part of human life advantages and disadvantages, therefore it was impossible to omit this point. It is not easy to divide community servers considering their diversity and difference. The paper therefore considers only some criteria: the way of their development, the establishment on a non-profit making or entrepreneurial base, their achieved objectives and the number of users. The last divisive point is the type of user and offered services. The paper at this point devotes itself to the description of specific community servers in detail. The result of the bachelor paper is the application on concrete people who use community servers in their lives and a proposition of a complex solution to improve their situation.
