Prevention and solution of bullying in primary schools

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou šikany mezi dětmi na základních školách, která je v současné době velmi aktuální. Cílem této práce je poukázat na tento sociálně patologický jev a také na prevenci, která je na základních školách, v souvislosti se šikanou, realizována. Teoretická část je zaměřena na vysvětlení obecných pojmů jako je šikana, kyberšikana, charakteristika účastníků a možné příčiny páchání šikany. Dále jsou v práci vypsána preventivní opatření užívaná k předcházení šikany. V praktické části je použita metoda kvantitativního výzkumu v podobě dotazníkové šetření, na které odpovídali žáci druhého stupně základních škol. Cílem dotazníkového šetření je zjistit, kolik dětí se ve svém životě již setkalo s některou z forem šikany, a případně to, jak k tomuto problému přistupovalo jejich okolí. Na základě výsledku šetření jsou na závěr navrhnuta možná další opatření, která mohou být nápomocna k řešení šikany.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of bullying among children in primary schools, which is currently very topical. The aim of this work is to point out this socially pathological phenomenon and also the prevention that is implemented in elementary schools in connection with bullying. The theoretical part is focused on explaining general terms such as bullying, cyberbullying, characteristics of participants and possible causes of bullying. The work also lists preventive measures used to prevent bullying. In the practical part, the method of quantitative research is used in the form of a questionnaire survey, which was answered by pupils of the second grade of elementary schools. The goal of the questionnaire survey is to find out how many children have already encountered some form of bullying in their lives, and possibly how their surroundings approached this problem. Based on the results of the investigation, possible additional measures are proposed at the end, which can be helpful in dealing with bullying.
