Business plan – photovoltaic power plant

Abstract:

Popularita fotovoltaiky každoročně roste. Výstavba fotovoltaické elektrárny představuje pro investory velmi zajímavou podnikatelskou příležitost s ohledem na možnost získání dotace z Evropské unie. Diplomová práce se zabývá sestavením podnikatelského plánu na výstavbu fotovoltaické elektrárny pro společnost Alfa Solar s.r.o. Součástí práce je vlastní kvantitativní výzkum vnímání fotovoltaických elektráren ve dvou vybraných obcích v České republice. Hlavní výzkumnou metodou je dotazníkové šetření. Klíčovou roli v podnikatelském plánu hraje finanční plán, který je sestaven ve třech scénářích – realistickém, optimistickém a pesimistickém. Ekonomická efektivnost je zhodnocena pomocí diskontované doby návratnosti, čisté současné hodnoty a indexu rentability. Cílem diplomové práce je zhodnocení celého investičního projektu a následné doporučení k jeho případné realizaci.

Abstract:

The popularity of photovoltaics has been growing every year. The construction of a photovoltaic power plant represents an interesting business opportunity for investors concerning the possibility of obtaining a grant from the European Union. The Diploma thesis deals with the compilation of a business plan to construct a photovoltaic power plant for the company Alfa Solar s.r.o. The work also includes quantitative research on the perception of photovoltaic power plants in two selected municipalities in the Czech Republic. The primary research method is a questionnaire survey. The financial plan plays a crucial role in the business plan, and it is compiled into three scenarios – realistic, optimistic, and pessimistic. Economic efficiency is assessed using the discounted payback period, net present value, and profitability index. The diploma thesis aims to evaluate the entire investment project and subsequent recommendations for its potential implementation.
