The issue of social exclusion from the point of view of the management of educational institutions

Abstract:

Téma bakalářské práce se zabývá problematice sociálně vyloučených dětí na základních školách. Toto téma jsem si vybrala z důvodu práce s těmito rodinami. V mé práci se často setkávám se sociálně vyloučenými rodinami, které žijí na pokraji chudoby, jsou odkázané na sociální dávky nebo jsou ohroženy patologickými jevy (drogy, alkohol). Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, část teoretickou a část metodologickou. V teoretické části popisuji, co je sociální vyloučení, jak vypadají sociálně vyloučené oblasti a jaký sociálně vyloučení přístup ke vzdělání. Praktická část je založena na rozhovorech ředitelů škol z těchto oblastí, jaké mají zkušenosti s těmito žáky a jestli se přiklánějí k alternativnímu vzdělání. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak škola k těmto žákům přistupuje a jakou mají úspěšnost se dále vzdělávat.

Abstract:

The topic of the bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of socially excluded children in primary schools. I chose this topic because of working with these families. In my work, I often meet socially excluded families who live on the verge of poverty, are dependent on social benefits or are at risk of pathological phenomena (drugs, alcohol). The work is divided into two parts, the theoretical part and the methodological part. In the theoretical part, I describe what social exclusion is, what socially excluded areas look like and what a socially excluded approach to education is. The practical part is based on interviews of school principals from these areas, what experiences they have with these pupils and whether they are inclined towards alternative education. The goal of the work is to find out how the school approaches these students and how successful they are in furthering their education.
