Abstract:
Metanogenní archea jsou mikroorganismy, jež mají na lidskou společnost dvojí dopad. Za negativní důsledky jejich aktivity považujeme zvyšování hladiny metanu v ovzduší a podpora globálního oteplování. Naopak produkce metanu z vodíku a oxidu uhličitého je vlastností využitelnou v energetice, především při hledání obnovitelných zdrojů energie. Abstract:
Methanogenic archaea are microorganisms, that have two different impacts on the environment. The negative consequence of their metabolic activity is methane production that leads to increase of methane level in the atmosphere.
