Lifestyle and value orientation of young generation

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá životním stylem a hodnotovou orientací mladé generace. V teoretické části jsou tyto pojmy vysvětleny, také jsou zde uvedeny životní styly některých subkultur. Dále uvádím hlavní socializační činitele dětí a mládeže a jakým způsobem ovlivňují jejich životní styl a hodnotovou orientaci. Práce je zaměřena na generaci adolescentů, proto uvádím i vymezení tohoto období z hlediska vývojové psychologie. V praktické části je proveden kvantitativní výzkum zjišťující preferenci hodnot v životě adolescentů. Vypracované dotazníky byly rozdány žákům středních škol ve městě Znojmě a porovnávám odpovědi žáků nižších a vyšších ročníků a jednotlivých škol.

Abstract:

This thesis is occupied with lifestyle and value orientation of young generation. In theoretical part there are explained these terms and there is also described lifestyle of selected subcultures. There are also mentioned major socializing factors and the way they affect lifestyle and value orientation of young generation. I focuse on generation of adolescence therefore I mention definition of this period on based of developmental psychology. In the practical part a quantitative research is performed which finds out the value preference of the adolescence. Questionare are processed and distributed to students on Secondary schools in Znojmo city. I compare answers of students from lower and higher classes and between particular schools as well.
