The Rules of Regulation in Banking Business Current Status and Trends

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce na téma "Regulační pravidla v bankovním podnikání - současný stav a trendy" je analýza aktuálního stavu regulace postavení banky jako instituce a analýza pravidel obezřetného podnikání - kapitálové přiměřenosti, úvěrové angažovanosti a pravidel likvidity. Při analýze jednotlivých regulačních pravidel bankovního podnikání je věnována pozornost také důvodům regulace bankovního podnikání, včetně rizik spojených s bankovním podnikáním. Z provedené analýzy jsou vyvozeny závěry o očekávatelném vývoji regulačních pravidel v bankovním podnikání, zejména ve vztahu ke kapitálové přiměřenosti. Diplomová práce rovněž obsahuje navazující problematiku dohledu nad dodržováním stanovených regulačních pravidel bankovního podnikání se zřetelem k aktuálním změnám.

Abstract:

The subject matter of this diploma paper entitled "The Rules of Regulation in Banking Business - Current Status and Trends" includes the analysis of current status of regulatory measures, such as applicable to the bank as institution, as well as the analysis of the banks prudent business - capital adequacy, credit involvement and rules of liquidity. In the course of the analysis of individual regulatory rules such as applicable in the banking business, the attention is also paid to the reasons behind the banking business regulation, including the inherent risks. From the above analyses, the conclusions are drawn as regards expected development in respect of the rules of regulation in the banking business, in particular in terms of capital adequacy measures. In addition, this diploma paper also deals with the relating issues such as surveillance over the adherence to defined rules of regulation in the banking business in view of their topical changes.
