Hlavním záměrem této práce je popis vzniku a vývoje stálých kin ve městě Kolíně mezi lety 1911 – 1939. Soustředíme se především na podnik známý jako Kinematografické divadlo v Kolíně, majitel Karel Franc, založený roku 1911 jako první tamní kino. Abstract:
The main intention of this thesis is to describe the inception and development of the permanent cinemas in the town of Kolín between 1911-1939. Especially we focus on Cinematographic Theatre in Kolín, owned by Karel Franc, established in 1911 as the first local cinema. Later it was followed by Bio Republika in 1920 and Bio Zálabí in 1939.
