Interruption, contradiction and refraction in *Tristram Shandy*
Abstract:
Tato práce je neoformalistickou analýzou filmu Michaela Winterbottoma Tristram Shandy. Popisuje systém narušení, které zabraňuje divákovu ponoření se do filmu. Tím film upozorňuje na svou artificiálnost a nutí diváka reflektovat stylistické a narativní techniky, kterých využívá.
Abstract:
In this thesis I analyse Michael Winterbottom’s film A Cock and Bull Story (2005).I have come to conclusion that the processes of disturbances disables one’s engulfment in film story. They draw the attention to artifical nature of watched film (or just film itself) and force the viewer to realize and reflect upon film’s principles.
