Suggestion of suitable recommendations for increasing competitiveness of the selected company

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na návrh vhodné strategie pro Hotel Bečva, která podniku zaručí vyšší postavení na trhu a také zvýší povědomí mezi potenciálními zákazníky. Teoretická část obsahuje definice pojmů ohledně konkurence, strategie a hotelnictví. Jsou zde také definované analýzy, které jsou použity v praktické části této práce. Praktická část se skládá z informací o vybraném hotelu, vypracovaných analýz PESTE, Porterova modelu pěti konkurenčních sil a benchmarkingu. Na základě těchto analýz je později sestavena analýza SWOT, která identifikuje silné a slabé stránky firmy, příležitosti a také hrozby. Díky analýze SWOT byly také vytvořeny návrhy vhodných doporučení. Nejvhodnější doporučení bylo finančně zhodnoceno a časově omezeno.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the design of a suitable strategy for Hotel Bečva, which will guarantee the company a higher market position and increase awareness among potential customers. The theoretical part contains definitions of terms regarding competition, strategy, and hospitality. There are also defined analysis that are used in the practical part of this work. The practical part consists of information about the selected hotel, PESTE analysis, Porter's model of five competitive forces and benchmarking. Based on analysis, a SWOT analysis is later compiled, which identifies the company's strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Thanks to the SWOT analysis, proposals for suitable recommendations were also made. The most suitable recommendation was financially evaluated and limited in time.
